U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO-03) says she and her colleagues' constituents sent them to Congress because they want Washington, D.C. to operate differently. "Right now, we have some 22 Republican members of Congress who are not standing for something," Boebert said. "They are standing in the way of progress. They are standing in the way of our constituents back home who want us to govern." Constituents, and not special interest groups, Boebert said, now have a say in how to govern the nation.
