A deadline is pending for another government shutdown. U.S. Rep. Greg Steube (R-FL-17) said he supports shutting the government down if it means shutting the border down. "The American people gave us the House of Representatives, and they gave us the House because they know that we are more economically and fiscally responsible," Steube said. "We use that opportunity to say 'You're not getting a dime more of American taxpayer dollars until you shut down the border and protect the safety and security of the American people.'"
