Speaking of the border bill (and the apparent rush to pass it), U.S. Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ-05) says he's spoken with senators who sat in Republican conference briefings. Those senators told Biggs about taking in 5,000 people a day and increasing the number of immediate asylum applications. "This does not take away incentives to come into the country," Biggs said, adding it actually does the opposite.
