Heritage legal fellow Zack Smith, speaking of the massive judgement against President Trump in New York, warned that anyone looking at this reasonably and objectively would hesitate to engage in business in New York going forward. "The law that [New York Attorney General] Letitia James used to obtain this record-setting judgement against Donald Trump is written very vaguely," Smith said. "She didn't have to prove that he intended to defraud anyone. She didn't have to prove that he, in fact, defrauded anyone."
