The South Carolina House of Representatives decided to give $1.3 billion in taxpayer money and incentives to Volkswagen to come and make electric vehicles (EV's)...in a failing EV market. South Carolina Freedom Caucus Chair and Congressional candidate and State Rep. Adam Morgan (R-Greenville) says he and his constituents oppose this idea. "I think South Carolina needs to stop with crony capitalism and corporate welfare and stick to core government functions like roads, schools, and public safety," Morgan said. "Stop picking winners and losers in the private sector. That is not what conservatives do."
