"These [National Guard members] are people from our local communities, not entrenched elite Capitol Police officers that only deal with the D.C. bureaucrats," Lang said. "The Capitol Police Officers have a vitriol and a hatred for middle flyover country. They don't like Trump. They don't like the Trump supporters. They had a bone to pick with us that day."
