Utah U.S. Senate Candidate Trent Staggs supports legislation to reform Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. “What’s so frustrating is for Senator [Mike] Lee to be able to call directly on Christopher Wray of the FBI and ask what that process is and to get no answer whatsoever,” says Staggs. “And to be able to cite over 200,000 examples, I believe it was, of warrantless spying on Americans. I mean this is incredibly problematic and something that we need to be able to stand up and actually get changed.”
