Monica Crowley, former Assistant Secretary of the Treasury, says she’s hugely supportive of Senator J.D. Vance being named former President Donald Trump’s running mate. “He is the American Dream. And he’s 39 years old which is also extraordinary. He’s got a long runway in front of him because President Trump can only serve four years, so he needed somebody to take the America First banner and run with it into the future,” she says.
